Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Alphonso L. Montgomery is the son of Willie and Earnestine Montgomery. From a young age, he felt the call of God on his life after being saved and baptized. Even in his youth, Apostle Montgomery’s heart for service was evident—first to his community as a Little Rock Police Cadet, and later to his country, where he served honorably in the United States Army for eight years.
A proud graduate of the historic Little Rock Central High School, Montgomery continued his education at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. He later earned credentials from the American Association of Christian Counselors in Psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy, along with a degree in the Old and New Testament from the Liberty University Institute of Biblical Studies. His studies also include courses in Pastoral Care from a Theological Seminary, and he holds an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Los Angeles Development Church and Institute.

Apostle Montgomery has known his best friend and the love of his life, Lady Monique Montgomery, since junior high school. The two married in 1989 and have built a legacy of faith together—raising three children, celebrating fourteen grandchildren, and delighting in two great-grandchildren.
Outside of ministry, Bishop Montgomery is full of life and laughter. He enjoys traveling, motorcycle riding, reading, and playing pickleball—always finding joy in both fellowship and fun. With a clear vision to see lives transformed by the love of Christ, Apostle Alphonso Montgomery continues to serve as the Bishop and Visionary of Led by the Spirit of God Church and Overseer of the Apostolic Kingdom Alliance, where he equips pastors and ministries for Kingdom impact. He leads with fearless hope and steadfast faith—trusting God for the future and guiding His people with passion and purpose!
Born in Long Beach, California and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Monique Montgomery is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and servant of God. She has been happily married to her husband, Alphonso Montgomery, since November 27, 1989. Together they have been blessed with three children, fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A retired cosmetologist with 27 years of experience, Monique continues to serve her community through her work with the Pulaski County Special School District and UPS. Since 1995, she has faithfully served alongside her husband in ministry at Led By The Spirit of God Church, where they continue to impact lives through faith, love, and service.
Her true passion lies in helping others—offering aid, encouragement, and support wherever she can. Monique’s ultimate desire is to help people discover their God-given identity and purpose, empowering them to walk confidently in all that God has called them to be.
Pastor Larry D. Yarbrough was born in El Dorado, AR, to Apostle Larry W. and Evangelist Jessie Yarbrough. Pastor Larry D. is the oldest of three children. Raised in El Dorado, he attended public school and graduated in 1995. After high school, he attended Southern Arkansas University (SAU). In January of 2002 he was ordained as an Elder and in 2004 he enrolled in United Theological Seminary, El Dorado, to begin his theological studies. Pastor Yarbrough has earned an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor's Degree in Theology, a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership through Arkansas Tech University, Russellville, AR.
Pastor Larry D. is a man that loves family. He married, the love of his life, Shaneil “PJ” Curley on May 20, 2000. The two met on the campus of SAU while being a part of the Genesis Gospel Choir. Together, with God’s help, Pastor Larry D. and Lady Shaneil work closely together in all aspects of life.
In 2001, Larry D. & Shaneil were blessed with their first son, Larry D., Jr. (LJ) and a second son, Lance, in 2004. These two are the joy of Pastor Larry D.'s life! Larry D. Jr., resides in the Little Rock area, and Lance went to be with the Lord in 2025. We look forward to living with him again!
Pastor Larry D. is not only a devoted husband and father, but he is a lover of ministry and serving people. Over the years, he has served in many areas of ministry, including evangelism, outreach, youth, and has served as a Senior Pastor since 2006. Pastor Larry D. is the Founder of Changing Lives Ministries Church, Inc. where he was the Senior Pastor for nearly 20 years! He is also the founder of the CIRCLE Initiative Foundation, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization, focusing on youth and minority males. In 2020, he co-authored his first book, The Business of the Mind. Pastor Larry D. is honored to be called to serve the disciples of Led by the Spirit of God Church in 2025, and installed as Senior Pastor in January 2026.
Lady Shaneil “PJ” (Curley) Yarbrough was born in Russellville, Arkansas, on September 9, 1978, to Charley Roy Nichols and Marsheill Finley. Affectionately known as “PJ,” short for Precious Jewel, she is the third of four daughters born to her mother. When her biological parents were unable to care for her and her sisters, Shaneil entered foster care. Through God’s divine appointment, she and her three sisters were adopted and reared together in Calion, Arkansas, by Andrew and Ernestine Curley.
Lady Shaneil attended public school in Norphlet and graduated in 1996. After high school, she continued her education at Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Camden and Magnolia. She earned her Associate of Arts degree, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Education.
With more than 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Lady Shaneil has dedicated her life to shaping young minds and empowering families. Her career includes leadership and teaching roles with the El Dorado School District, Families and Children Together, Inc., Arkansas State University, and the University of Arkansas. In a full-circle moment of divine purpose, she served for 18 months as the Executive Director and Administrator of the
Agape House Children’s Home, a group foster home, where she poured into the lives of children with compassion and excellence.
Shortly before meeting Larry D., Shaneil fully committed her life to the Lord and was filled with the Spirit of God on the campus of SAU Magnolia. With a renewed outlook on life, she soon became a new wife and mother. Married in 2000, she and Pastor Larry D. Yarbrough are the immensely blessed parents of two sons: Larry D. Jr. (“L.J.”, born 2001) and Lance (born 2004). Known as the “Favored Four,” family is at the heart of Shaneil’s identity and serves as the inspiration behind everything she does. With this motivation, she has embraced her divine calling to proclaim the Word of God and boldly share her testimony to impact others.
Lady Shaneil is a dynamic and purpose-driven woman who continues to inspire through ministry, education, and writing. She has been a sought-after speaker for church and community events, has served on numerous boards across the state, and remains active in outreach and leadership initiatives throughout Arkansas and beyond. She is the author of the inspiring autobiography, Born a Statistic: Living Rejected, Agree with God (2018), followed by L.I.F.E. After the Struggle, and a heartfelt children’s book, A Place for Precious.
Wife, mother, pastor’s wife, daughter, sister, author, educator, life coach, motivational speaker, minister, and friend—these titles only begin to describe the remarkable Lady Shaneil “PJ” Yarbrough. Yet, above them all, she treasures being a daughter of God, continually striving to rise higher, overcome obstacles, and live in health, abundance, and victory.
